skinheads are working class citizens that enjoy music and beer, yet they are continually portrayed as racists and bigots.Skinheads are constantly called nazis, but skinheads didnt come from germany.
they came from england many years earlier. Skinheads spend most of there time wit other like minded individuals. A group of skinheads is called a "crew". unlike gangs, crews are realitvly non violent, unless provoked.they dress in simple and classy style at all times to show case there working class roots. most skinheads will continue living the skinhead life style untill they die.

Skinhead roots began during the late 1960's when the west indian rude boy subculture mingled with te british mod culture. A rud boy is best defined as a "cool super-hooligan". Rude in jamica usage means wild, violent or reckless. A rud boy now is defined as a person who listens to reggea and ska but dresses nicly in suits.
the term mod is short for modernist.Mod is a direct out growth of post war britian, when all the teenagers wanted to a find an identidy more than a skool boy or working man. The product if this marriage would be what we today call a skinhead. skinheads preffered physicle labour to the mod ideals effortless wor. there were several theories on why skinheads shave there hair and wear boots.. one theory is that "the rougher kids began cutting there hair loose, both to aid there fashion and to prevent there hair from hindering from street fights". the other theory is that the dock workers wore steel caped boots for protection and shaved there heads for protection against hair lice. after work, skinheads would usally congregate to the closest pub. wearing there finest cloths, such as fred perries and ben shearmans, they would meet at the soccer.
while skinheads werent being hooligans they listened to many styles of music.... ska, oi and 77 punk rock.
skinheads need to look good when there out and about. skinhead fashion have changed little since the 60's. the most definite points about a skinhead is the boots, braces, flight jackets and colered shirts. the colour of a skinheads boot laces and braces does not mean any thing!!!!!!! red does not stand for nazism, white does not stand for white power. blue is the only coloured lace that means a thing. it stands for SHARP. skin heads against racial pregdeduce. but its his/her disision to agree with that thoery, i personly do not.

freshcuts are skinheads in training. most teenagers are freshcuts and they look up to the older genaration of skinheads for guidence and teachings.
older skinheads tend to pick on the younger freshcuts to toughen em up and make em stronger for street fights, wich are un-a-voidable in a skinheads life.
i dont believe in rascist skins. i believe that is a creation made by pollitics, nazis, and the media.
people mistook soccer hooligans, who also had shaved heads, for skinheads, and so the nazi paries in engalnd targeted them to become nazis.
if you ever see a nazi skin, look him in the eye and say, "your not a skin, your a person who lives in the medias lies.
all around the world skins have been blaring out there music as a form to recruite more and more skins. with out the Oi factor, skins just would not be.
all in all skinheads are all round decent people who are just looking for a spot in this mixed up world. you cant blame em, what they stand for is true and pure.
being a skinhead is a way of life, not a classification.
